Scavenger hunt postponed due to poor weather forecast

A scavenger hunt organised by the City of Hamilton has been postponed over concerns about wet weather.

While the event was scheduled to take place tomorrow and Saturday, it will now run on August 13 and 14.

Teams that have already signed up will be notified and their bookings will be moved to the new dates automatically – but were urged to e-mail events@cityhall.bm to confirm they can still compete.

Allison Tucker, the city’s senior events and marketing coordinator, said: “Although this was a tough call to make, the City wants participants to have the best experience possible.

“With more than 60 teams signed up, we are really excited that this one-of-a-kind event has garnered so much interest.

“We look forward to hosting this event in August and bringing this unique, fun and engaging experience to the people of Bermuda.”

Teams who wish to participate must provide a receipt from a business in the City of Hamilton worth at least $25 to participate.
