The Saltus Association hopes to bring the community together and promote fitness at its annual fun run this weekend.

A spokeswoman for the organisation said that the Saltus Association Run/Walk is scheduled to take place at the St John’s Road campus of the school on Sunday with a variety of events.

In addition to 400 metres, 800m, one-mile and 5-kilometre races, organisers are bringing back the “toddler trot” — a 40m race designed specifically for children aged between 18 and 35 months.

The spokeswoman said: “You can run, walk or volunteer. It’s all about participation and community togetherness along with various family-friendly activities, raffles, goodies and entertainment.”

Registration is required and participants are urged to sign up online at runsignup.com.

The registration fee varies from $5 to $30, with activities scheduled to start at 2pm on Sunday.
