The Department of Parks has put out a call for vendors interested in joining the festivities at the 85th Annual Agricultural Exhibition.

The popular fixture of spring, which celebrates the island’s agricultural and horticultural heritage, will be held at the Botanical Gardens in Paget from April 23 to 25.

A government spokesman said that applications to run snack, food and craft stalls are open, with full details and forms available online at www.gov.bm/exhibition.

Application forms are also available at the Exhibition Office at the Botanical Gardens.

The spokesman added: “Vendors must partner with a registered charity and donate 10 per cent of exhibition-related profits. A confirmation letter from the chosen charity is required.

“The deadline for applications is January 16. The Department of Parks encourages interested vendors to apply early and take advantage of this opportunity to showcase goods and products at one of the largest public events of the year.”
