Kole Hall and Jutorre Burgess poised for play-offs
Kole Hall and Jutorre Burgess will be competing in the play-offs for their respective teams this week.
Hall scored Chorley’s fifth goal in the win against Rushall Olympic in the final game of the National League North season to secure fifth position in the league and a coveted spot in the play-offs.
Chorley will play King’s Lynn on Tuesday night with the winner going on to play Scunthorpe United in the play-off semi-final.
Burgess netted his sixth goal of the season as Harborough Town secured their spot in the Southern League Premier Division Central promotion play-off in dominant fashion at the weekend.
The Bermudian winger scored the fourth goal in a 5-1 away thrashing of AFC Sudbury in their final league outing of the season, sealing a top-five finish and clinching the last remaining promotion play-off spot up for grabs.
Ben Stephens, Connor Kennedy, Josh Walsh and Ben Starkie were also on target for the Bees, while the hosts replied through Marcel Lewis’s late consolation.
Harborough will now face Kettering Town in the promotion play-off semi-final with the winner facing either Halesowen or Telford United in the final.
Burgess, 18, went into last weekend’s vital league clash high on confidence after being named Harborough’s Young Player of the Year .
