Camryn Lines signs for Bridgwater United
Camryn Lines has made a seamless transition at new club Bridgwater United in Somerset, England.
The Bermuda midfielder was recently signed by the FA Women’s National League Division One South West outfit who have welcomed her with open arms.
“The club put their players first, prioritising a welcoming environment which has allowed me to fit right in. It already feels like home away from home," Lines commented on the club’s official X account.
The former PHC midfielder has already made an impression on head coach Steve Perkins during preseason training.
“Camryn is very athletic, strong, tenacious and has a great delivery and strike on her,” he said.
"She can play in a number of positions, which is a great bonus for us, too, but her impact in a short space of time is exciting and I can't wait to see where this can take her and the team."
Lines brings a wealth of experience to the West Country side, having represented Bermuda at youth and senior levels.
She made her debut for the senior national team in an international friendly against Belize last summer when she was also nominated for Youth Player of the Year in the Women’s Summer League in recognition of her talent and dedication.
Lines has been involved in the national academy set-up since the age of 11 and has consistently challenged herself playing in various boys’ leagues.
Bridgwater finished seventh in the league last season and will kick off the 2025-26 campaign away to Moneyfields at John Jenkins Stadium on August 17.
