The two Dudley Eve Trophy matches scheduled to take place at Goose Gosling Field on Monday night have been abandoned.
After a sustained period of heavy rain, thunder and lightning about an hour before the game between St George’s Colts and X-Roads Warriors was scheduled to start at 6pm, referee Anthony Francis made the decision that the pitch was unplayable.
The second match between PHC and Devonshire Cougars, scheduled to start at 8pm, was also called off.
The matches have been rescheduled for Tuesday at Bernard Park.
