Boulevard docked points from Dudley Eve Trophy win

Boulevard have forfeited the points from their 3-2 win over Paget Lions in a Dudley Eve Trophy group A contest at Goose Gosling Field on September 7 for fielding an ineligible player.

The Bermuda Football Association has yet to announce the sanction imposed on the club; however, sources from both affected parties have confirmed that action has been taken.

As a result, Boulevard’s chances of reaching the semi-finals were dashed after losing 2-1 to North Village at Devonshire Recreation Club on Sunday.

This leaves unbeaten group A leaders Dandy Town, Village and Paget to battle for the remaining two semi-final spots in the final round of group A matches at PHC Field tomorrow night.

PHC, who have played their complement of matches, are the other side in with a chance, but will rely on other results.

Group B winners Devonshire Cougars and group C winners St George’s Colts have already secured their spots in the last four.
