BFA officials appointed to Fifa committees
Four individuals from the Bermuda Football Association have been appointed to Fifa standing committees for a four-year period.
In announcing the appointments, the BFA said that the appointments are a show of Fifa’s confidence in the administration running the game on island.
BFA women’s committee chairperson Shequita Parson has been handed a role in the Fifa grass roots and amateur football committee.
David Sabir, the BFA general secretary, continues his involvement with the world football governing body’s stadium and security committee, which he has been actively involved with since 2006.
Senior men’s team coach Michael Findlay has been appointed to the technical development committee.
Mark Wade, the BFA president, has switched from the Fifa disciplinary Committee to take up the position of deputy chairman of the antiracism and anti-discrimination committee.
