Two young Bermudian footballers are heading to the English North-West for trials at Blackburn Rovers, the Sky Bet Championship side.

Kennahz Fray is starting the weeklong trial period on Monday, when he will get a chance to train with Blackburn’s under-18 and under-21 squads.

Harlem Bean-Fox will get his chance to impress coaches at Blackburn from December 15 to 20, having been on trials at runaway Championship leaders Coventry City, where he trained with the under-18s.

Fray and Bean-Fox are enrolled at Future Pro Academy in England and Demir Vavan, the academy’s founder and managing director, indicated that the former has a chance to play against Dundee United if he catches the eye of the Blackburn coaches.

“Kennahz Fray will be going on trial training with the under-18s and under-21s at Blackburn Rovers,” Vavan said.

“He will be with fellow Future Pro team-mate Kylano Isaac, who is a national first-team player from Antigua & Barbuda.

“Both will train with the under-21s and are expected to face Dundee United next week should they do well.”

Fray and Bean-Fox have made a huge impression since joining Future Pro at the start of the season.

“Harlem and Kennahz played this week when we beat Codsall 6-4 to reach the last 16 in the English Association of Colleges National Cup, Kennahz scored,” Vavan said.

“Meanwhile, both of them featured for the under-23s and we are joint top of the league.”
