Holders Dandy Town will face Devonshire Cougars in the Friendship Trophy semi -final at Somerset Cricket Club on Boxing Day (File photograph)

Friendship Trophy holders Dandy Town will face Devonshire Cougars in the semi-final of the competition at Somerset Cricket Club on Boxing Day (2pm).

The Premier Division rivals were pitted against each other at the draw held at the Clyde Best Centre of Excellence today.

The remaining Friendship Trophy semi-final features North Village locking horns with Devonshire Colts at PHC Field on Saturday (9pm).

The draw for the First Division Shield was also held and Somerset Eagles will play Wolves at Somerset Cricket Club on Boxing Day (noon). Somerset Trojans will do battle with fellow promotion contenders Robin Hood at PHC Field on Saturday (7pm).

The final for both competitions will take place at Wellington Oval on New Year’s Day.
