Botanical Gardens will temporarily close tomorrow so pest control work can be carried out.

A spokesman for the Department of Parks said the gardens would be closed to the public from 3pm until 5pm.

The spokesman added: “Parks staff will be stationed at each entry point into the garden to control access to the park.”

He added the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, headquartered at the park, would be open during regular hours.

The spokesman said: “Customers should use the entrance opposite the Peace Lutheran Church on South Road.”
