Information Commission goes to remote working for holidays

The Information Commissioner’s Office has closed its Church Street office for the Christmas period, with immediate effect.

A spokeswoman for the ICO said that the closure was unrelated to Covid-19.

The Maxwell Roberts Building office will remain closed until Monday, January 4, during which time staff will work remotely.

A statement issued by the ICO said: “During this time, the public and public authorities may reach the ICO by contacting 543-3700 or info@ico.bm during regular business hours.

“Information about filing a request under the Public Access to Information Act 2010 is available at www.ico.bm.”
