Warning over fake vaccination email

The public is being warned about a fake phishing email asking for personal information about vaccinations.

A Government spokeswoman said: “The Government of Bermuda is advising the public that it is aware of a phishing email circulating, purporting to be from the Minister of Health.

“The email indicates that it is seeking personal information from individiuals regarding the government's vaccination programme.

“This email is fake. The public is urged not to forward this email or any message that is not credible.

“As a reminder, official information from the Government is always shared through a press conference or a press release/advisory.”

Government updates can be found at: coronavirus.gov.bm, the Government’s Facebook page, Twitter account, Instagram page and the TreeFrog app. Residents can also subscribe to Government’s What’sApp account by sending a message to 504-6045.
