A stretch of Harbour Road will be temporarily closed to traffic later this week as part of work to repair a damaged wall.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works said the section of Harbour Road between Highwood Lane and Lover’s Lane would be closed between 10am and 2pm on Thursday.

Traffic control points will be in place at both the Harbour Road and Middle Road sides of Chapel Road and Lover’s Lane while the work is ongoing.

The spokesman said: “Road users are advised to detour onto Middle Road and South Road during this time.

“The Ministry of Public Works encourages everyone’s full co-operation and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.”
