Bull’s Head ground floor to be closed for repairs

The Bull's Head car park in Hamilton

The ground floor of Bull’s Head car park will be closed throughout the summer in order for maintenance work to be carried out.

From May 2, all traffic will be diverted to the upper levels. The second floor entrance and exit from Elliott Street will not be affected.

A spokeswoman for the Corporation of Hamilton said: “The area will be closed to allow the City to carry out crucial works – namely, the repainting of the car park’s steelwork and repairing the culvert which carries Pembroke canal under the car park.”

The work is expected to take four months to complete.
