Traffic diversion due to burst water pipe in Hamilton

Motorists are being warned that due to a burst water pipe the City of Hamilton has installed a traffic diversion/one lane closure between Bull’s Head and Washington Street.

A City spokeswoman said: “This stretch of road will remain open to westbound traffic but will be closed to eastbound traffic to allow crews to address the issue. The water leak is currently under control.

“The City apologises for any inconvenience caused to motorists.”
