A popular playground in Hamilton Parish is awaiting repairs on some of its equipment.

The climbing frame at the Shelly Bay playground is to be put back in service “as soon as possible”, the Ministry of Public Works announced this week.

The ministry did not specify the cause of the damage, but said the “hazardous” equipment had been taped off.

The public should not use the equipment until the repairs have been completed.
