Hamilton road closures for paving work

Motorists are being warned of street closures in Hamilton to allow road-paving work to take place.

A spokeswoman for the City of Hamilton said the work would take place during the week of January 16 and would see Brunswick Street closed from Dundonald Street to Beacon Street, and Beacon Street closed from Brunswick Street to Cedar Avenue.

“The work should take five days and is weather dependent. A traffic notice has been issued,” the spokeswoman added.

She said that future road paving will be done at Washington Street from Dundonald Street to Victoria Street, the eastbound lane of Front Street from the Supermart to the eastern boundary of the City, and the southbound lane from Church Street to Reid Street and that notices would be posted.
