Body found on Par-la-Ville Road, no foul play suspected

Police confirmed that a body was found in front of a Hamilton property yesterday morning.

Officers and other emergency personnel were called to Par-la-Ville Road at about 7.20am after a man was found unresponsive in the walkway of an office building.

Upon arrival, the police determined that he had died, which was later confirmed and certified by a police doctor.

A police spokesman said that no foul play was suspected, but added that the scene was processed by the Forensic Support Unit to help with an inquiry into the man’s death.

The body was taken to the morgue at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. A coroner’s inquiry will be conducted.
