The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club is once more the gold sponsor for the upcoming Cup Match.

Tim Morrison, the hotel’s general manager, said the company was proud to continue its relationship with the Annual Classic.

“Hamilton Princess first became involved in 2022 at Somerset Cricket Club and this year we are delighted for our return to support St George’s Cricket Club as the host of the 2023 Cup Match.”

Mr Morrison said the two exciting days of Cup Match were “a time when Bermuda’s level of hospitality is heightened” and “the perfect opportunity for us to introduce our visiting hotel guests to cricket, our community and culture”.

“Our colleagues are proud that the hotel supports this annual event, celebrating the cultural significance of our holiday and the great competition this annual tradition brings.

“We look forward to watching the game from our camp at Wellington Oval and relishing in the amazing atmosphere of the annual Cup Match.”

Neil Paynter, the president of St George’s Cricket Club, said: “We are happy that Hamilton Princess & Beach Club has joined the roster of valued supporters for the 2023 Cup Match.

“We hope to have their continued support in the years to come.”
