The window for comments and submissions on a proposed corporate income tax has been formally announced by the Ministry of Finance.

A document including questions for consideration has been posted online — and confidential industry submissions can be e-mailed to cjanderson@gov.bm before the September 8 deadline.

The tax would apply to Bermuda businesses that are part of multinational enterprise groups with annual revenue of €750 million or more.

The proposed tax would come into effect in 2025.
