Wedco seeks firm for tugboat berth repairs
The West End Development Corporation hopes to carry out erosion repairs on the inside of the north arm tugboat berths in Dockyard.
The project was put out to tender this week, with Wedco asking for interested parties to submit bids for the project.
Andrew Dias, Wedco general manager, said: “The West End Development Corporation has released a tender for required erosion repairs to the inside of the north arm.
“The short delay in commencement was driven by the need to assess the damage, prepare a historically sensitive design and method to make the repair as well as ensuring we have the proper approvals to proceed.”
The request for tender notice said that documents are available to qualified contractors with submissions to be received by 3pm on March 15.
The successful applicant will be informed by March 22.
