The Botanical Gardens is ready to welcome guests to the 83rd Annual Agricultural Exhibition, which kicks off tomorrow.

Lieutenant-Colonel David Burch, the Minister of Public Works, praised the hard work displayed in this year’s entries, saying he was impressed by the diverse showcase, including plants, rabbits, chickens, traditional Bermudian baked goods, handmade kites, and arts and crafts.

“The dedication and creativity displayed by all the participants are truly inspiring,” he said.

Colonel Burch added: “I want to thank the Department of Parks again and all the volunteers and judges who play a crucial role in bringing this exhibition to life. I am confident this year's show will be another success."

The three-day event will begin tomorrow and continue until Saturday, with the gates open from 8am to 6pm.

Because of the event, dogs are prohibited from the Botanical Gardens grounds until 6am on Sunday.
