The reopening of the youth library, which had been closed for roof and structural repairs, has been delayed.
It closed in August and was due to open tomorrow but a statement from the Bermuda National Library said the reopening had been postponed owing to the “ongoing remediation”. It did not give any further details.
The statement said youth library staff would continue to host the Saturday Storytime, Book Babies, Girls’ Club, Chess Club, Crafternoons, Teen Advisory AB and the Lego Club at the main library.
Online resources and a limited selection of children’s and young adult books at the main library will remain available for loan, the statement said.
