Residents and visitors reflected on what makes Harbour Nights special as the family event returned to Front Street for its 2025 season.

The summer street festival, run by the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce, delighted crowds with music, food, art and entertainment.

Belinda Wellman said that Harbour Nights is “a fun event, for all Bermudians, all tourists and once the children come out of school, it’s a place to hang out”.

“It’s a beautiful evening when the weather is good,” she added.

Andy Stachyra, a cruise ship passenger, said that when he learnt about Harbour Nights, he decided a trip to the event was a must.

The visitor was not disappointed and was “overwhelmed” by one of the performances put on for attendees.

Dandy Donuts, Ashley’s Lemonade and Croffle Haus were among the businesses recommended for anyone interested in sampling food or beverages at the festival.

One woman said: “What makes Harbour Nights special is all the tourists coming to see the entrepreneurs and the Bermuda businesses that are out here. [They] get some new customers, get the recognition that they deserve.”

The event will run on Wednesdays between Parliament Street and Queen Street from 7pm to 10pm until August 27.
