WindReach enjoys $35,000 injection thanks to donor efforts
WindReach Bermuda’s educational and therapeutic programmes for people with diverse needs have benefited from a $35,000 donation from a captive insurance company.
L&F Indemnity Ltd, a Bermudian-based firm connected to the PwC network, made the financial contribution and its staff members recently dedicated 24 hours of community service to the charity, assisting with essential tasks at its expansive ten-acre site.
Greg Galeaz, L&F’s chief executive, said: “Our longstanding partnership reflects L&F’s commitment to the physical and mental wellbeing of individuals in our community of all ages and abilities.
“Our team is honoured to continue to support the incredible work being done by WindReach through financial sponsorship and by ‘getting our hands dirty’.”
A WindReach spokeswoman added: “We value the support from the L&F Indemnity team.
“Their philanthropy goes beyond financial contributions as they have volunteered with us for approximately nine years.
“Their community service has included weekly participation in our therapeutic riding programme and, once a year, the entire team steps away from their office roles to dedicate a day to helping with various tasks around our property.
“Their exceptional commitment to community partnership encompasses both financial backing and volunteer efforts, which are crucial for charities like ours.
“We are immensely grateful for their ongoing support.”
