Mount Saint Agnes to host colourful 5K run and walk
Residents of all ages can get covered in colourful powder during a 5K run-and-walk event tomorrow.
A spokeswoman for Mount Saint Agnes Academy said 365 people were registered for the school’s annual Colour Me fundraiser as of noon today.
The event will start from the Dundonald Street entrance to the school at 6pm, with participants being showered with washable powder as they head on to Cedar Avenue and St John’s Road.
They will continue to be covered in colours as they proceed along Pitts Bay Road and Serpentine Road, turn left on to Woodlands Road and head back to the school via St John’s Road and Cedar Avenue.
Younger children can take part in a mini route from the school to Laffan Street, Canal Road, Woodlands Road and St John’s Road and Cedar Avenue.
Registration is $25 and $10 for people under 18, and funds will go towards renovating the school’s auditorium.
Children can get temporary tattoos and play in a bouncy castle while their parents are entertained by a DJ and refuel on food, treats and alcohol for purchase in the MSA courtyard after the event.
