Police meetings aim to promote dialogue with residents
Residents of Southampton and Sandys have been reminded about two upcoming community meetings being hosted by the Bermuda Police Service.
As announced last month, the police’s western area commanders will be leading the discussions and capturing feedback from participants.
Inspector Cerepha Bridgeman, second in charge at Somerset Police Station, said: “We look forward to meeting with as many Sandys Parish and Southampton Parish residents as possible at each meeting.
“Our goal is to promote open dialogue where we can share updates on policing initiatives and also hear directly from area residents.”
The meeting for Sandys residents is at St James’s Anglican Church from 6pm to 8pm tomorrow.
The Southampton meeting will be held at Vernon Temple AME Church from 6pm to 8pm on June 18.
The first meeting in the series was held with Warwick residents on April 30 at St Mary the Virgin Anglican Church.
