Police appeal for information into death of Norman Bell
Police are continuing to treat the death of a man whose body was found at Sandys this month as “suspicious”.
Acting Detective Superintendent Jason Smith appealed for residents to provide information on the movements of Norman Bell, whose body was discovered in the Lodge Point Lane area at Dockyard at about 10.40am on June 2.
Mr Smith said the police had received the results of a post-mortem of the man’s remains this week.
He said Mr Bell was a familiar member of the community and known to frequent the Warwick area.
He added: “There had been several lines of inquiry that had been pursued.
“Several witnesses had been interviewed in an attempt to piece together the pieces of this puzzle of how Mr Bell ended up in the location in Dockyard.”
Mr Bell was last seen alive in the Warwick area at about noon on June 1.

He also rode a bike and did odd jobs in the community.
He added: “All inquiries into and all information that can help us and assist us in tracing the footsteps of Mr Bell are very important to this investigation.”
