Mariners urged to be mindful of sailing race

Mariners have been urged to exercise caution during a sailing race on Monday.
The advisory was issued by the Department of Marine and Ports Services regarding the Edward Cross Long Distance Comet Race.
The race will start at 11am in the Great Sound near the West End Sailboat Club.
Mariners were urged to provide ample clearance to the racing comets, ensuring minimal wake in their vicinity.
Competitors will navigate eastward along the North Shore, with the event concluding approximately three hours later in St George’s Harbour, near the East End Mini Yacht Club.
