Mirrors Programme honours volunteers
Volunteers and service partners of the Mirrors Programme were last week recognised for their dedication to the organisation.
The annual volunteer appreciation event at the Masterworks Museum, which was hosted by the Mirrors Alumni and Friends Association, coincided with the opening of the ninth annual Art and Digital Competition.
Tinée Furbert, the Minister of Youth, Social Development and Seniors, thanked the volunteers for their service.
She said: “Mirrors continues to impact the lives of Bermuda’s youth and make a difference in our community.
“This is the ninth year that Mirrors has formally honoured volunteers and service partners.
“Each year, the Mirrors Programme receives support from community members to produce successful programmes. And each year the Mirrors team and MAFA work to acknowledge those outstanding volunteers who go beyond their commitment to ensuring the focus of ‘Transforming Our Community One Person at a Time’ is met.”

“The Mirrors Programme couldn’t have been as successful without your contribution. With our deepest gratitude for your commitment to serve, we say thank you.”

Members of the public are invited to view the exhibition at Masterworks and cast votes by August 5 for the People’s Choice Award.
