A section of King Street will be closed to vehicles for paving works next week, the City of Hamilton said.

The road, between Victoria Street and Church Street, will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.

The closure follows an earlier phase of works that were carried out in the area this month in the City’s ongoing infrastructure improvement programme.

King Street is expected to reopen to motorists on August 6.

Members of the public were thanked for their continued patience and co-operation during the works.
