Autopsy shows physical injury is not cause of Pembroke death
The death of a man whose body was found outside a home in Pembroke was not a result of physical injury, police said.
Jason Liburd was discovered at a residence on Fentons Drive during the afternoon of August 10.
He was pronounced dead by an on-call physician soon after.
The Bermuda Police Service said yesterday: “An autopsy has confirmed Mr Liburd’s death was not due to any physical injury.
“His family has been updated accordingly.”
Police said earlier that the death was being treated as suspicious.
“The investigation into Mr Liburd’s death remains ongoing,” the BPS said yesterday.
Anyone with information about Mr Liburd’s whereabouts in the days before his body was found was asked to call Acting Detective Inspector Anneka Donawa on 717-2250 or e-mail adonawa@bps.bm.
