A community programme is organising a giveaway in Hamilton in November.

The Grateful Bread said that residents can prepare for the giveaway by donating or sorting through items during happy hour sessions today and on October 15.

Volunteers are needed for the events, set to take place at 2 Mills Creek Road in Pembroke from 5pm to 7pm, as well as the giveaway itself at St Andrew’s Church Hall on Church Street on November 22.

The giveaway will take place from 1pm to 4pm, but volunteers are needed for set-up starting at 11.30am.

All items except women’s clothes and shoes, and adult books will be accepted for the giveaway and donations should not have rips, stains or must.

All proceeds from $15 Grateful Bread T-shirts will provide new toiletries for people in need.
