The public has been asked to drive with caution and patience as trainee firefighters conduct their driving courses.

The Ministry of National Security said that non-emergency driver training started on Monday and will continue until Friday.

The exercise involves Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service vehicles driving without sirens throughout the day and night.

Emergency driver training will involve trainees driving under supervision with their warning lights and sirens activated.

These tests will take place between October 6 and October 17.

The ministry thanked the public for their patience and understanding.
