Charity for senior citizens to host public meeting
Age Concern has extended an invitation to the public to engage with the charity and hear updates on its programmes.
Its annual public general meeting is due to take place next Tuesday.
A spokeswoman for Age Concern, which supports and advocates on behalf of senior citizens, said: “This meeting offers an important opportunity for the public to engage directly with Age Concern and hear updates on its initiatives that impact the lives of Bermuda’s older adults.
“This important annual gathering provides an opportunity for members of the public to learn more about the organisation’s work, reflect on the year’s accomplishments and engage with future plans.
“Attendees will also have the chance to participate in open discussions and hear updates on upcoming initiatives.”
Light refreshments will be provided and guests are encouraged to invite a friend to help “make a lasting difference”.
The meeting will be held on September 30 from noon to 2pm at the Evangelical Church, 1 Mission Road, Paget.
Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to register in advance.
