Friswell’s Hill search for Ja’Dore Wilson proves unsuccessful
Newest efforts to locate missing teenager Ja’Dore Wilson have proved unsuccessful, police have admitted.
Officers this morning canvassed the Friswell’s Hill area of Pembroke, as well as other areas the 15-year-old was known to frequent.
A police spokesman said that door-to-door checks and discussions with residents have not led to any information about her whereabouts.
Dennis Astwood, the Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police, said: “While there so far has been no indication that Ja’Dore is in any danger, the fact that she is a minor and has not been seen in almost two weeks is cause for grave concern.
“Ja’Dore’s loved ones are anxious for her safe return.”
Ja’Dore was last seen at her home at North Terrace, Pembroke, on the morning of September 17.
She is described as having a light complexion, 5ft 4in and about 175lb, with black and blond hair past her shoulders.
Ja’Dore is still believed to be travelling mainly by foot.
Mr Astwood said: “Someone knows of her whereabouts. If you are that person, please make immediate contact with us by calling the main police number 295-0011.”
Anyone with any information at all about the whereabouts of Ja’Dore is urged to contact Detective Inspector Kenton Trott by calling 717-2345 or e-mailing kenton.trott@bps.bm.
