Man missing after falling into ocean

Police and the Royal Bermuda Regiment Coastguard searched for a man who fell into the waters of North Shore at Ducking Stool Park, Pembroke.

A spokesman for the Bermuda Police Service said the man has not been seen since he apparently fell into the sea off cliffs at about 4.50pm.

The search was called off shortly after 7pm owing to “failing light and deteriorating sea conditions”.

The spokesman added that the search for the missing man will continue this morning.
