A wall collapsed near Dub City in Hamilton Parish, reportedly resulting in three motorcycles being buried in the rubble.

A woman who had been on the scene told The Royal Gazette that the incident happened yesterday afternoon at about 2.30pm and luckily did not result in any injuries.

A video is circulating on social media showing the aftermath, which included a large boulder resting on tarmac above a private road a little distance from the public road below it.

The woman said: “I got there after it had collapsed. The wall had completely fallen over on top of parked bikes. Some vehicles were completely destroyed. I couldn't even see them, but apparently there had been three bikes parked in the yard of the house.

“The wall is behind the shop [Dub City] but is part of a homeowner’s property — it is the house behind the yellow house.

“People were shook up. They heard a commotion.

“I saw they had blocked off the private road from the public road.”
