Heart Foundation hosts Hamilton hunt

Residents can help to find Santa’s bag and “save Christmas” next weekend.

The Great Santa Christmas Caper mystery hunt, organised by the Bermuda Heart Foundation, will bring the game of Clue to Hamilton on December 6.

Teams of four will meet at the Dallas Building’s upper parking lot on Victoria Street promptly at 5.30pm and search throughout the city to uncover who took Santa’s sack, where they stole it from and why.

Suspects include Grinchy McGrumblepants, Mistletoe Millie and Rudolph’s Cousin Fred.

The event, which will run until 7.30pm, is part of the Bermuda Heart Foundation’s “Duck Nation: Get Quackin” campaign, aimed at getting hearts pumping through simple and family-friendly activities.

Simone Barton, the chief executive of the foundation, will serve as Chief Inspector Mo for the evening.

She said: “We wanted to create something that gets people off the couch and into the community — something that feels less like exercise and more like pure holiday fun.

“The Christmas Mystery Hunt is our gift to Bermuda: a chance to explore Hamilton, bond with loved ones and solve a delightfully silly mystery, all while getting your steps in and spreading Christmas cheer.”

The event is open to all ages. Participation is $30 for a team of four, with registration available online. Call 232-2673 or e-mail info@bdaheart.bm for more information.
