Applications open for government boards, committees

The Cabinet Building (File photograph)

The Cabinet Office is now accepting applications from members of the public interested in serving on government boards and committees.

Government boards and committees are made up of private citizens as well as government employees.

They are used to provide feedback and advice for policies that could eventually change laws.

Board and committee selections are completed every January.

To become involved, candidates must complete a form for expression of interest, after which time the minister relevant to the committee will select the members.

A list of available boards and committees can be found on the Government’s website.

To state an expression of interest, visit forms.gov.bm.
