Santa Paws photo call to raise money for Bermuda SPCA
Opportunities for festive photographs of pets will be offered this weekend in a fundraiser for the Bermuda Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
The holiday partnership with Brew, on Front Street, will run from 9.30am to 11am on Saturday.
For the Santa Paws Fundraiser, families have been invited to visit the café to enjoy a drink and capture photographs of their pets with Santa Claus.
The SPCA said: “Guests simply show proof of purchase from Brew and make a $5 donation to the Bermuda SPCA, with all proceeds supporting the shelter’s animal welfare programmes.
“Participants are asked to bring their own devices for photos, and pets should arrive leashed.”
April Augustus, the executive director of the Bermuda SPCA, added: “Seeing families and their pets share a joyful moment with Santa is such a special reminder that pets truly are family.
“We are grateful to Brew for helping us create this festive experience and to everyone whose support makes a difference for the animals who rely on us.”
Funds raised will support essential SPCA services including daily shelter operations, veterinary care, rehoming initiatives and programmes such as CatSnip, DogSnip, TheraTails and the SPCA’s education efforts.
The charity added: “The Bermuda SPCA extends heartfelt thanks to Brew for their continued support and to the community for joining in this festive effort to help animals in need.”
