A new planning application proposes changes to the Bull’s Head car park, including bathrooms and a new entrance.
The application by the Corporation of Hamilton includes a range of changes at the eastern side of the multilevel parking facility.
The Jackson’s Way ground-level entrance would be removed and replaced with a new four-lane entrance from Canal Street, with restrooms by the northeastern corner of the structure.
Parking lots along Jackson’s Way would also be removed under the plan and replaced with new plantings, with additional plantings by the junction of Jackson’s Way and Canal Road.
The northern end of Jackson’s Way would be reduced to a single lane travelling north, with new sidewalks installed.
