Hamilton releases holiday trash collection schedule

The Corporation of Hamilton has released its waste collection schedule for the remainder of the year.
A City spokeswoman said that all garbage must be kerbside by 5pm and that no waste will be collected after 8pm.
There will be no waste collection over Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
On Saturday, garbage will be collected from bars and restaurants only.
Trash collection will operate as normal until December 31, when all garbage must be out by 5pm and will not be collected after 8pm.
No garbage collection will take place on New Year’s Day.
Normal trash collection will resume on January 2.
