Non-profit Alliance names new committee members
The Non-profit Alliance of Bermuda has unveiled three new appointments to the body that overseas its accreditation services.
Aaron Smith, Glenn Faries and Nadien Lapsley-Dyer have all been named members of the NAB’s Bermuda National Standards Committee.
Aaron Smith, BNSC chair, said: “As a sub-committee of NAB, the BNSC strengthens a culture of excellence that empowers non-profit to operate with greater transparency, accountability and impact.
“The Council of Accreditation’s rigorous standards provide the framework our sector needs to deliver consistently high quality services. Through our certification and accreditation services, we are building a stronger, more resilient non-profit community.”
Mr Smith was described as a business leader with prior board experience at a Bermuda non-profit, while Dr Faries previously led two local charities and Ms Lapsley-Dyer served on the original BNSC board and later as BNSC manager.
Nicola Paugh, NAB executive director, said: “We are pleased to welcome individuals with the leadership, expertise, and prior standards experience needed to guide this next phase of BNSC oversight.”
