A woman’s body was found at a home in Southampton this morning and foul play has not been ruled out, police said tonight.

The Bermuda Police Service said that officers were informed shortly after 10am that a female was found unresponsive inside the residence.

A spokesman added: “Officers responded and secured the scene.

“An on-call doctor later attended and subsequently pronounced the female dead.

“At this stage, foul play has not been ruled out.

“A full investigation is now under way.”

He said that further information would not be provided until the next of kin were notified.
