Disability centre closes during mould treatment

A facility that supports Bermudians with disabilities will temporarily close tomorrow to address a mould issue
A government spokeswoman said mould remediation and air quality improvements were needed at the K Margaret Carter Centre in Devonshire.
She added: “The Ministry of Youth, Social Development and Seniors and KMCC are actively working to identify a temporary location from which the centre's programme can continue to operate.
“Further updates will be provided as arrangements and processes are finalised.
“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused to families, clients and stakeholders and we appreciate your understanding as this important work is being carried out and services are restored as quickly and safely as possible.”
