Shirt design contest opens for 40th End-to-End
Members of the public have been invited to help design a participants’ T-shirt for the 40th Convex End-to-End.
The event has raised more than $7 million for charities since it was established in 1998 and its latest iteration was on Saturday.
A statement said shirt designs should “reflect the spirit and story of the Bermuda End-to-End, including themes of community, endurance and charity, as well as the journey across the island”.
Christen Styche, the organisation’s board chairwoman, said: “As we prepare to celebrate 40 years of the End-to-End, we wanted to give the community a chance to help shape this milestone moment.
“The event has always been driven by the people of Bermuda and this competition is a way to celebrate that creativity, pride and shared spirit.”
Participants may submit five original designs and organisers will choose five finalists based on creativity, relevance to the event, originality and visual appeal.
The statement added: “These final designs will then be showcased online for public voting, with the community helping to select the final winning design.”
The winning designer will be recognised across event promotions and social media and receive a special prize during the fundraiser next year.
Entries must be submitted in a high-resolution format suitable for printing by June 19.
