The Cup Match holiday will affect waste collection in Hamilton next week, the City has announced.
A spokeswoman said garbage will be collected as normal for City residents on July 29, with the last collection for bars and businesses set for 5pm on that day, and no waste picked up on July 30 or 31.
Only garbage from City restaurants, bars and businesses will be collected on August 1, while normal pick-up will resume on August 3.
The spokeswoman added that the corporation’s administrative offices at City Hall and the Laffan Street works depot will close at noon on July 29 and reopen on August 3.
