Children enjoyed some fun in the sun at CedarBridge Academy courtesy of Jason Hayward, the Minister of Economy and Labour and Progressive Labour Party leadership contender.
He held a Back to School Community Event today with dozens of children enjoying a fun castle and face painting, while parents took in the music and refreshments on offer.
Mr Hayward said he was proud to host the event.
“We are giving away school shoe vouchers, pencil cases, free haircuts, and there is lots for the kids to do including the face painting,” he added.
“It is for families to try and ensure they have some help, and this is one of those events they look forward to every year.”
